As we all know - on Aliexpress.com there are a lot of Chinese devices with the brand name listed. For example, enter the search "Iphone" and what do we see? The site is full of these phones, although it's doubtful that these are originals ... 8 CPU cores, 2Gb RAM for $ 100ish? Yeah right.
According to the rules of the site if you get a fake - you do not send the goods back and the seller issues a refund.
1) We buy an "original lenovo handset" or Iphone, anthing that is super underpriced as a name brand item with high specs.
2) Put MTK Droid Tools on our laptop and read the data from the device to show the fake operating system
3) We put the Quadrant program on the Chinese phone, open the "System information" We see the data unspoofed and prove that it doesn't match up with what the product describes and begin to engage in a dispute.
4) We open the dispute on the smart-ass seller on the FULL refund of the product, don't forget to indicate that the goods will not be sent back
5) The seller is pretty well fucked at this point as far as fighting to not refund you.
6) If the seller is a douche you can click "Escalate Dispute", then the site administration itself will personally review your dispute and force the seller in its own way. After this action, a week or two and you will definitely receive a full refund and keep the product.
This works for chinese macbooks as well, they're just spoofing the system information in products to make a modern age "fake rolex" scheme. We can always exploit this to get free goods from them by disputing it after we purchase it, then turn around and sell this counterfeit phone clone as an original on Craigslist and make a good profit from them as well.
